The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development(NABARD) has sanctioned Rs. 53.42 crore to Karnataka under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund-VIII. In a statement on Thursday, the Chief General Manager of NABARD, S.M. Gupta, said Rs. 53.42 crore had been sanctioned for 11 irrigation projects besides 73 road and 11 bridge projects. The projects were to be taken up and completed during 2002-04.
