The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development(Nabard) has sanctioned Rs 713.94 crore in loans under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) VII for creation of infrastructure in 12 states. The decision was taken by Nabard's project sanctioning committee on February 8, which took the cumulative sanctions to 22 states to Rs 3,598.36 crore out of a corpus of Rs 5,000 crore for RIDF VII during the current fiscal.
