Nabard to give Rs 400-cr aid for TN RIDF

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has assured the Tamil Nadu Government a Rs 400 crores assistance for the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund for 2002-03, as against the planned amount of Rs 350 crores. Chief Minster of Tamil Nadu., Ms Jayalalitha, said the state government is taking measures to facilitated rapid creation of rural infrastructure as it is targeting a 4 per cent growth in the primary sector in the 10th plan period.
