The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has launched the District Rural Industries Project (DRIP) in Cachar district, of Assam, a press release said. Inaugurating the DRIP at a function at Silchar, Mr P K Das, Deputy Commissioner, Cachar stressed the need for proper motivation of entrepreneurs for successful implementation of this project. He said that Cachar has got potential for industries and he expressed hope that with the concerted efforts, industries of Cachar will get a new boost soon.
