The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has promised to invest Rs 60,000 crore in the next five years for the development of rural and agriculture infrastructure. Releasing a 40-page election manifesto for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, party supremo and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that his government (if it comes to power) would concentrate on speedy development of rural infrastructure covering irrigation, agriculture and allied sectors such as poultry, dairy, food processing and aqua products.
