The sole regulatory authority in the power sector has declared the small independent power producers, business in Pakistan as legal against whom Wapda Chairman announced to file criminal case in the special courts.National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra), government organisation for regulating power business in Pakistan, does not agree with Lieutenant General Zulfiqar Ali Khan's opinion that the smaller power units which have not acquired licences from the government were selling their product illegally.
