The state government, on Tuesday, cleared the Rs 650 crore joint venture Mangalore Transmission project between Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) and National Grid Company Plc. The company will finance, build, own and maintain the transmission facilities required to evacuate power from the Mangalore area.
