National Power to build Thailand plant

National Power, Britain's largest fossil-fuel generator announced plans to spend $89m on building a 110MW gas fired combined heat and power plant in Thailand. Work on the plant, will start immediately. The plant, which is National Power's first project in Thailand, will be 100 per cent owned by the company, and should be operational in the autumn of 2000.
