Natural gas could supply 25 percent of Israel's energy needs, worth $1 billion annually, over the next 20 years, industry sources said yesterday. Prime Minister Ehud Barak's office said that Egypt agreed to export natural gas to Israel and the Palestinian Authority, with plans to eventually extend a pipeline through Turkey, Syria and Lebanon.
