Natural gas was struck in a new well at Pasarlapudi structure sin the Krishna-Godavary basin of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation in East Godavary district of Andhra Pradesh on Monday. ONGC sources said on Tuesday that the gas bearing well name "Pasarlapudi-32", drilled upto 2400 meters depth and containing eight zones, indicated the presence of natural gas. The test results of the data of the well's third zone was estimated to yield 80,000 cubic metres of gas per day.
