The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) has called for greater efforts, beyond what has been recommended in the budget, to achieve the 8 per cent growth in gross domestic product (GDP). Ficci has expressed concerns regarding inadequate long-term project finance for the industry, which it says is a major hurdle and needs to be tackled.
