Neglected by CPWD, ravaged by cattle

Maintained by the Central Public Works Department the park has an area of 75 acres, apart an area of 75 acres, apart from the forest range bordering it which is maintained by forest officials. Landscaped in the traditional sense with a canal in the midst of the park to nourish the plants, it is now facing neglect.The canal has dried up for want of water supply as the water tank at Bhuli Bhatiyari, earlier used for the park's needs is now being used to provide water supply to adjoining areas.
