Scientists at the Malaria Research Centre here claim to have controlled mosquitoes in urban slums using curtains impregnated with an insecticide. A two year study by the MRC team has found about 90 per cent reduction of disease-causing mosquitoes in Motibagh slum area under the New Delhi Municipal Council, MRC in-charge M.A. Ansari told reporters.
