Defence scientists have entered into an agreement with a Bangalore-based comapny for the commerical production of a neem-based contraceptive. The herbal contraceptive developed by the sceintists at the Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS) in collaboraiton with the Indian Agricultural Research Institute , can kill the sperm without affecting the normal cells.
