New vaccine claimed to cure AIDS

An Indian American neurologist has filed an application with the international patent office in Geneva to register a recumbent virus vaccine he designed which he believes will eradicate the HIV virus long before it becomes full-blown AIDS. Known as Contre-Vir and developed by Mr Sateesh Apte, who heads his own immunoscience company in Pleasanton, the vaccine is being touted a a "definitive, immune mediated cure" that requires only two injections.
