Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) has announced plans to set up a mine mouth power station and refinery residue based power plant in Rajasthan. The plant will be a joint venture of NLC and Chennai Petroleum Corporation. NLC is also planning to set up a 250 MW power plant in Gujarat, in a joint venture with the GMDC.
