Consensus has not yet been developed among various stakeholders over the water availability and construction of future reservoirs and Sindh's aversion against the Kalabagh dam still persists, an official source told Business Recorder. So far, Sindh contested water availability figures provided by Wapda and Punjab for future reservoirs, the source said. However, technical committee on water resources chairman A N G Abbasi has said some progress has been made for achieving consensus on various issues.
