NASA researchers say the ozone layer over the Arctic may not be recovering as fast as predicted from damage it has suffered. More clouds than anticipated are forming in the stratosphere high over the North Pole, causing additional ozone loss over the Arctic, according to a paper published in the Mat 26 issue of the journal Science and summarized in a NASA release Thursday.
