Following the technological up gradation of refineries and their ability to make low-sulphur diesel available, the Union government has proposed to the Bhure Lal Committee, assisting the Supreme Court in pollution cases, that besides Compressed Natural Gas, 'clean' diesel may also be considered for running public transport in the Capital.
