India and Norway are to sign a billion-dollar hydel power project later this week when Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg arrives here on an official visit. This will be one of the largest joint venture power projects to be announced in recent years.The project will be located in Savalkot in the Jammu region and will be a joint venture between a Norwegian consortium and the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation.
