Gurgaon: To discourage pedestrians from crossing the busy Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, the concessionaire DSC Limited started a free bus ferry service between Shankar Chowk and IFFCO Chowk on Wednesday. The move comes after the NHAI recently put median fencing on the Expressway on which several have died and over 50 injured while trying to rush through the fast moving traffic. Under the bus ferry service, two low-floor buses will ply from 6 am till 11 pm. According to an official of the DSC Limited, the service will be provided till a foot-over bridge or underpass is constructed.
