As a last ditch attempt to avoid re-bidding of the Rs 6,000-crore Rihand and Ramagundam power projects, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has asked Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel), the sole bidder for these two projects, to reduce its bid prices by around 10 per cent.
