The National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd has floated global tenders to set up a power project in Sipat in Chhattisgarh. The 3x 660 MW, coal-based project would employ "super critical technology" which reduces fuel consumption, according to Mt R.D. Gupta, Executive Director, Western region, NTPC.
