The two power giants-- Nuclear Power Corporation (NPC) and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)-- are joining hands for the first time to set up mega power plants. Initial talks are on for a Rs 5,000-crore , 1,000 MW nuclear plant, expected to be located at Tarapore in Maharashtra.
