NTPC to set up three plants in Chhattisgarh

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) will set up three power plants with a capacity of 660 mw each at a cost of Rs 8,000 crore in Seepad in Chhattisgarh state within the next six years. Revealing this NTPC executive director (western region) R D Gupta said: "For the first time we will be introducing the super critical technology boilers system in India. This system ensures an increase in efficiency through a reduction in coal consumption. It is also reduces environmental pollution."
