The Badarpur Thermal Power Station in Delhi has been doing a lot more than just generating electricity. It has also been devising ways and means of effective utilisation of coal ash. The power station which is managed by NTPC, generates 4,400 million units of electricity per annum and 14 lakh metric tonnes of coal ash. And this coal ash is now used for construction purposes.
