The Central Ground Water Authority under the Ministry of Water Resources today sought to expand itself by suggesting in its 14-point recommendations at the end of a one-day Workshop on Ground Water Management, the creation of a separate Drinking Water Wing, a Coastal Ground Water Management Wing and an Institute for Desert Hydrogeology and Ground Water Management set up under the Authority.
