US oil refiners said Tuesday they will sue the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to change new green diesel rules they say are too strict and threaten consumers with shortages and high prices.The rules released last month by former President Bill Clinton's administration are aimed at lessening particles spewed by diesel trucks and cleaning air for children, the elderly and people with respiratory ailments. They are to take effect in 2006.
