The State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Assam, in collaboration with the Oil India Limited (OIL) will undertake a joint venture to support young entrepreneurs in the State to take on agro-based industries in order to ensure their economic independence, as well as to generate avenues for self-employment. A Memorandum of Understanding in this regard will be signed within a month between SIRD and OIL.
