With an alarming number of eye-injury cases involving children being reported during Dussehra and Deepawai, the Delhi Ophthalmology Society has said it was time to bring legislation banning dangerous crackers, apart from including awareness in the school curriculum. It has also suggested that crackers should not be sold to children who unattended.
