Oysters and mussels were found to be contaminated with endocrine disruptors after being exposed to a harmful compound used for antifouling paints for vessels. According to an examination of 24 mussels and 34 oysters collected from four fish markets in Kyonggi-do (South Korea), all the samples were discovered to contain tributyltin, a harmful endocrine disruptor.
