The ozone layer will return to its condition it was in early 1970 by 2050,as predicted by the Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion 1998, released by the World Meteorological Organisation and the United Nations Environment Programme(UNEP). This however is based on enthusiastic assumptions like full implementation of the Montreal Protocol, in the 165 member countries.
