In pursuance of UNESCO's Man and Biosphere (MAB) programme , the projects for conservation of sensitive and bio-diversity rich areas have been launched across the world in the last two decades. The Biosphere reserve programme is aimed at conservationof natural state of plants, animals, micro-organisms etc of representative ecosystem of suitable sizes so as to ensure self perpetuation and unhindered of living resources, an official press release issued at Bhopal on Monday.
