Pakistan's population is likely to double in the next 24 years and the country will inevitably face a socio-economic resource crunch, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has said. Representatives of the international body said they would soon be conducting a population assessment of Pakistan as part of its country programme, with empahasis on more male involvement in family related issues.
