Panch Parmeshwar Yojna to usher development in villages

Lump sum funds will now be made available to Gram Panchayats for development and construction works under Panch Parmeshwar Yojna. This will accelerate the pace of rural development will lead to co ncretization of the concept of Golden Madhya Pradesh. These views were expressed by Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and in-charge Minister of the district Paras Chandra Jain while launching Panch Parmeshwar Yojna at Neemuch on Sunday.
Jain said that the funds in proportion to Panchayats' population will be deposited directly in their bank accounts. Funds to the tune Rs 5 crore each have been deposited in the bank accounts of Gram Panchayats in every district. The Gram Panchayats will ensure development of villages by chalking out action plans. He exhorted Sarpanchs to ensure construction of roads connecting their respective villages with main road.
The function was also addressed by MLA Omprakash Sakhlecha. Presiding over the function, Zila Panchayat president Ishwar Singh Chauhan said that works needing larger sums can also be undertaken by Gram Panchayats due to availability of lump sum funds. He said that the all the Panchayats should prepare and present their respective action plans within the time-limit.
