Panchayat presidents of various villages in Tamil Nadu to discuss the agenda for a state level conference of the Panchayat Presidents Federation to be held in March/April next year. The representatives came up with a set of demands which would be presented to Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa soon. State president of the Federation M Muniyandi said that the state government must render full support to help the panchayati Raj exercise its 29 legislative powers.
