The House committee in Thailand has some doubts about the reported malfunction of all six desulphurisation systems installed at the Mae Moh lignite-fired power plant, and plans to raise the issue in Parliament. Pinit Chanthasurin, chairman of the House panel, yesterday said it was unusual for all four desulphurisation units worth over 5,000 million baht to break down simultaneously, adding he would raise the issue in a question in Parliament.
