Indian Oil's Panipat refinery has been awarded the prestigious Golden Peacock Environment Management Award 2000 under the large manufacturing category, Shanta Kumar, Union minister for consumer affairs and public distribution , presented the award to K K Acharya, general manager (technical Panipat refinery at a function at Delhi on Friday.
