Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Dr C Rangarajan, has called upon the pesticide indutry to evolve a code of ethics, as sub standard pesticides had led to the failure of the cotton crops last year. If they lose the confidence of the faremrs, the future of the industry itself may be at stake, he said. He was speaking at the national seminar on rural marketing and communication, organised by Sampark Marketing and Advertising Solutions Private Ltd, at Hyderabad.
