Goa becomes the first State to reduce taxes on petrol and diesel, making it cheapest in the country here, from November 15 midnight.Announcing it after its first Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said both the petroleum products are reduced by three per cent, making petrol cheaper by 73 to 78 paise, while diesel would be cheaper by 45 to 50 paise.
