The Thai-Malaysian joint venture gas development project will put Thailand at a disadvantage and expose local residents and their property to danger, according to a research study.Local people living in 44 villages on the pipeline route will be at risk if the project is carried out.The research on the government's development policies and violation of community rights was conducted by Prapas Pintoptaeng of the Thailand Research Fund.
