Besides human development, the primary focus of planning in Goa will be on maintaining, preserving and protecting the "essence of Goa" and on generating employment livelihood for the people of Goa. This was stressed at a brain storming session on Planning and Development in Goa, held at the International Centre, Goa on Monday.
