Poor nations too have vital role, says IMF chief

Rich countries should give poor nations greater access to their markets but developing nations also have a responsibility to build trade among themselves and pursue rational economic policies, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing director, Mr. Horst Koehler. Mr. Koehler stressed the fund could not resolve all the world's problems. "The existing patterns of trade must change," he said.
