Portable water provides remote monitoring of heart

A research group from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering has deveoloped a portable sensor system that can transmit a warning message to a hospital when a person seems to have suffered a heart attack or a stroke at home. The system cobines electrodes to monitor heart activity with sensors to measure acceleration and inclination in a package no bigger than a pack of cigarettes and weighing around 100 grams.
