Leading Australian environment groups have promised power companies they will be exposed if found to be selling electricity generated from burning native forest woodchips. In letters sent to all Victorian power retailers and generators this week, the groups invite companies to avoid a "public relations fiasco" at the end of the year when full electricity market competition means households can choose their suppliers.
