Government has fixed the target of providing electricity to 80,000 villages during the 10th five year plan for which the high-powered inter-ministerial group is deliberating on ways especially with regard to financial options. The GoM headed by K C Pant, deputy chairman of Planning Commission, which met here last night, decided to complete village electrifaction in the next Five Year Plan.
