With the stand-off between the government-both in Maharashtra and at the Centre-and Enron Corp's Dabhol Power Company (DPC) getting worse with each day, DPC invoked the don't blame us clause in its agreement. By invoking the Political Force Majeure Clause, DPC has essentially said that political events beyond its control have overtaken the project and so it cannot be blamed for what happens after this.
