British energy giant Powergen has signalled it could pull out of a power project in Madhya Pradesh due to frustrating delays in implementaiton, following in the footsteps of US counterpart Cogentrix. But the Madhya Pradesh government, which won fresh investment commitments worth $1 billion at a business forum at Khajuraho, moved quickly to assure Powergen that the hurdles in the way of the project will be removed.
