Pricing policy for new gas reserves

At a technical conference-cum-seminar on petroleum industry in Islamabad recently, the speakers who were mostly associated with the oil companies referred to the on-going deadlock in the fixation of prices of the newly discovered gas reserves in Pakistan.They rightly emphasised that unless the country satisfactorily resolved this issue, the huge gas reserves would continue to be left unutilised commercially and remain unavailable for economic benefit of Pakistan.
