Barring RPG's Dholpur Power, none of the 18 companies who were issued letters of intent (LoI) to produce 2800 MW of power using naptha have shown any inclination to pursue the projects . Out of these 18 companies 13 were granted oil linkages by the Union petroleum ministry for 1415 MW.
